Historical Background

1956

William Mitchell, a food chemist at General Foods, was trying to create carbonated Kool-Aid to compete with Coke and Pepsi. His "failure" ended up as Pop Rocks. Pop Rocks were first introduced to the general public in 1976 and became a a sensation across the country.

2013

Lynn Hesson, a former executive with Pop Rocks, added zinc to this carbonated treat and created the first popping breath mint, breathROX. $2.3 Million were sold on HSN & QVC and an additional $750K on Facebook. They knew this product could only reach it's full potential with retail distribution— an area in which they didn't have experience.

2023

breathROX was sold to a small group of investors (That's us!) to bring the product to retail. After an effective brand makeover, we are currently shipping to hundreds of pharmacies and continuing to raise funds through OUR WEFUNDER CAMPAIGN so even wider distribution can be made to grocery and convenience stores as well as direct to consumer on this very website.
